Innovid is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and scale cloud infrastructure environments using Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code principles. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, supporting multi-cloud migration, and managing production pipelines and monitoring systems. Candidates should have a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 3+ years in DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure/SRE roles, strong skills in AWS (or GCP/Azure), scripting (Python, Bash), CI/CD automation, IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation), CaC tools (Chef, Ansible), Kubernetes experience, and a solid understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals. What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and manage scalable production infrastructure and cloud solutions
- Build highly available, distributed, and fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Maintain and improve continuous delivery pipelines and gradual deployment processes
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code practices
- Automate deployments and scaling of production environments
- Support migration efforts to the multi-cloud architecture, following best practices and principles
- Manage and maintain production pipelines, monitoring systems, and databases
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing and listening)
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure / SRE roles
- Solid understanding of cloud services, AWS preferably; experience with GCP or Azure with transferable skills is also considered
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; openness to other languages (Go, Ruby, etc.)
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, and performance optimization fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar
- Infrastructure as Code experience: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar
- Configuration as Code experience: Chef, Ansible, or similar
- Conceptual understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (CRDs, DaemonSets, Operators, sidecars)
- Security best practices and DevSecOps principles — an advantage
- Cloud cost control and optimization skills — an advantage
- Curiosity, growth mindset, and genuine passion for infrastructure engineering
- Proven experience working with highly scaled production environments, with a strong understanding of the impact that infrastructure changes can cause
