Full job description

Teads is seeking a mid-level Cloud Engineer to join their Infrastructure team in Paris. The role focuses on architecting core infrastructure with an emphasis on global networking and automated provisioning, bridging public clouds (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centers. Responsibilities include building high-performance connectivity, Infrastructure as Code pipelines, ensuring network security and resilience, solving routing challenges, and collaborating with product teams. Candidates should have a BS in Software Engineering or equivalent experience, strong programming skills, extensive experience with public clouds, proficiency in Terraform and IaC, and a commitment to quality, automation, and documentation. The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in-office per week, 22 days off annually, career development opportunities, wellness initiatives, and a diverse and inclusive work environment.

What you'll do

  • Architect core infrastructure focusing on global networking and automated provisioning
  • Bridge public clouds (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centers with high-performance connectivity and Infrastructure as Code pipelines
  • Ensure network security, resilience, and invisibility to feature teams
  • Solve complex routing challenges and streamline resource lifecycle
  • Collaborate and share knowledge to evolve scalable infrastructure foundation

Requirements

  • BS in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Good programming abilities
  • Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or both)
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Terraform
  • Strong commitment to quality designs, automation, and documentation
  • Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration
  • Eager to learn and become proficient in new tools and languages
  • Effective communicator and creative problem solver
  • Embrace change and enthusiastic to learn to bring projects to completion
