Full job description

Teads is seeking a mid-level Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Foundation team. The role focuses on architecting core infrastructure with emphasis on global networking and automated provisioning, bridging public clouds (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centers. Responsibilities include building high-performance connectivity, Infrastructure as Code pipelines, ensuring secure and resilient networks, solving routing challenges, and collaborating to maintain scalable infrastructure. Candidates should have a BS in Software Engineering or equivalent experience, strong programming skills, extensive experience with public clouds, proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, and a commitment to quality, automation, and documentation. Bonus points for experience with large-scale, highly available infrastructure and advertising technology or e-commerce. The position is full-time, hybrid (3 days onsite per week), located in Montpellier, France. What you'll do

  • Architect core infrastructure focusing on global networking and automated provisioning

  • Ensure network security, resilience, and invisibility to feature teams
  • Solve complex routing challenges and streamline resource lifecycle
  • Collaborate and share knowledge to evolve scalable infrastructure

Requirements

  • BS in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Good programming abilities
  • Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or both)
  • Strong working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Terraform
  • Strong commitment to quality designs, automation, and documentation
  • Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration
  • Eager to learn and become proficient in new tools and languages
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to embrace change and complete projects
  • Bonus: Experience building and running large, highly available, high scale, high traffic infrastructure in multiple regions
  • Bonus: Experience in advertising technology or e-commerce
