Full job description

Merkle, a dentsu company, is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support and maintain AWS infrastructure and delivery pipelines. The role involves maintaining Jenkins pipelines, applying AWS infrastructure changes with Terraform, monitoring system performance with CloudWatch and Grafana, ensuring environment consistency, and updating infrastructure documentation. Requirements include 2+ years in cloud or DevOps roles, knowledge of AWS EC2, S3, VPC, Terraform, Jenkins, Linux, Git workflows, fluent English, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Python or Bash scripting, AWS certifications. What you'll do

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Jenkins pipelines to ensure reliable code deployments
  • Apply incremental AWS infrastructure changes using Terraform under established patterns and conventions
  • Monitor system performance via CloudWatch and Grafana; escalate anomalies promptly
  • Ensure consistency and stability across development, staging, and production environments
  • Keep infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and runbooks current as the system evolves

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cloud or DevOps-related role
  • Working knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, and security groups
  • Ability to read, plan, and apply Terraform configurations safely
  • Practical experience with Jenkins: triggering builds, reading logs, and understanding pipeline syntax
  • Solid Linux fundamentals: command line, file management, and permissions
  • Proficiency with Git workflows: branching, merging, and pull requests
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teammates
  • Fluent English
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
