Full job description

Client Partner role based in Manila, Philippines reporting to Senior Client Partner, SEA. Responsible for leading and driving revenue growth in the Philippines by engaging with major agency groups, independent agencies, and direct marketers. Deliver commercial strategy, scope and win new business for programmatic products and solutions. Achieve sales targets, build commercial deals, forecast quarterly business, analyze data to maximize partnerships, and collaborate with internal teams. Develop market strategy with senior management. Act as trusted advisor to senior clients and maintain strong agency relationships. Participate in industry events. Requires strong agency sales experience, proven advertising deal closure, forecasting skills, and people management experience. What you'll do

  • Consistently achieve regional/personal sales targets and deliver regular business updates from your market
  • Propose, build and deliver compelling commercial deals that provide value for regional clients
  • Pull together a forecast each quarter for your book of business, feeding into the overall SEA and JAPAC forecast/budget
  • Interpret and analyse statistical data to maximise partnership opportunities, monitor competitive activity and provide regular progress reports
  • Liaise and work closely with other departments to establish best business practices to maximise client success and commercial revenue
  • Be self-sufficient in delivery, drawing in stakeholders when needed
  • Balance short- and long-term wins to maintain an even pace/growth
  • Develop a strategy for the Philippines market in collaboration with senior management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients
  • Own relationships with local agency teams, client partners, client leads, business and comms directors
  • Use excellent written communication to build award-winning solutions and presentations impacting business decisions
  • Participate in local industry events and conferences
  • Proactively plan and collaborate to construct simplified, engaging narratives via storytelling, tech explanation and proposal articulation
  • Curate, innovate and articulate end-to-end programmatic solutions from briefing to campaign delivery
  • Consistently articulate product position strategies and key selling messages
  • Spot market opportunities and make suitable recommendations to product teams

Requirements

  • Highly competent agency sales professional with a high level of integrity and commercial sales skills
  • Proven experience in selling and closing advertising deals and meeting revenue targets
  • Extremely strong relationships across a broad set of Agency Groups and clients
  • Experienced in detailed forecasting and cost management
  • Proven experience managing people, creating alignment of strategy and goals, while supporting the delivery of core objectives
