The Client Partner manages multiple client relationships (€2–6 million annual revenue) focusing on delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. Responsibilities include leading complex engagements involving advisory, data management, consulting, and technology deployments. The role requires leadership of consulting and multidisciplinary teams, managing client business to meet financial targets, and ensuring client satisfaction and growth. The Client Partner manages portfolios, mentors employees, engages with executives, manages commercial aspects, plans revenue growth, directs team activities, develops account strategies, and stays updated on industry trends. Requires 8+ years in digital agency or consulting, strong client management, strategic development, leadership skills, business acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluent English and Dutch required. Based in Rotterdam office, full-time on-site role.

What you'll do

  • Manage growth and evolution of multiple client relationships ranging from €2–6 million in annual net revenue
  • Lead complex, multi-dimensional engagements involving advisory services, data management, consulting, and large-scale technology deployments
  • Grow client relationships by presenting new strategies and innovative ideas
  • Lead teams of consulting professionals and multidisciplinary teams within a matrix organization
  • Manage clients’ business to achieve financial targets
  • Own overall client satisfaction and ongoing growth of client relationships
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams focused on delivering value and ensuring quality
  • Mentor employees and create opportunities for growth and development
  • Engage with executives, manage client expectations, reinforce value, and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of client relationships including contracts, pricing, profitability, and forecasting
  • Plan and forecast revenue growth to achieve net revenue and margin targets
  • Direct team activities to ensure collaboration and effective use of company resources
  • Engage regularly with senior-level client contacts delivering business-building ideas and gathering feedback
  • Develop and drive growth and account plans, processes, and strategies
  • Increase knowledge of client’s business and industry, serving as first-line consultant
  • Plan work, communicate changes, and resolve issues to fulfill commitments
  • Work closely with growth team to develop proposals and presentation content
  • Onboard new client relationships
  • Ensure a highly engaged team staffed with top talent
  • Hire, retain, develop, and motivate top-level talent
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to proactively sell solutions and ideas

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a digital agency or consulting environment
  • Experience across a broad spectrum of digital consulting, including strategy, technology advisory, development, and design
  • Strong relationship and client management skills
  • Experience in account planning and strategic development
  • Ability to lead both internal and client-facing teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and pro forma models
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and client engagement
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to meet high expectations consistently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
