Full job description
Tatari seeks a Client Development Team Lead responsible for leading a small sales team and driving sales goals. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, collaborating with leadership, improving sales processes, and converting mid-market and enterprise advertisers. Candidates must have 7+ years selling performance-driven advertising solutions (TV, CTV, or AdTech preferred), 3+ years people management experience, strong sales and leadership skills, CRM experience (HubSpot preferred), and a bachelor's degree. Benefits include a base salary of $165,000 - $210,000, equity, health insurance, 401K, education benefits, unlimited PTO, and hybrid work with 2 days in office weekly.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Account Executives and Client Development managers
- Responsible for achieving sales goals across the business
- Collaborate with revenue leadership to execute strategic initiatives that shape the broader team’s success
- Identify gaps in the sales process and proactively improve how we sell
- Own the full sales cycle—from pipeline creation to contract execution—with a focus on net-new business
- Identify and convert mid-market and enterprise advertisers into lasting Tatari partners
- Lead consultative conversations with founders, CMOs, and senior marketing leaders
- Translate Tatari’s measurement, automation, and media execution capabilities into a clear value proposition that resonates with performance marketers
- Partner closely with Media Buying and Client Services to ensure seamless handoffs and strong long-term account growth
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline
Requirements
- 7+ years of selling performance-driven advertising solutions (TV, CTV, or AdTech strongly preferred)
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a high-growth sales environment
- Deep understanding of how performance marketers think, test, and scale
- Ability to break down complex data, attribution, and measurement concepts in clear, compelling terms
- High-ownership mindset—you move fast, take initiative, and don’t wait to be directed
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a bias for action
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot preferred)
- High EQ, with strong executive presence
- Bachelor’s degree required
