Full job description

The Client Activation Manager (CAM) manages new client onboarding and leads all aspects of client launch, ensuring workflow expectations and timelines are met based on account tiers. Responsibilities include understanding client business at all levels to evaluate delivery requirements, acting as principal contact for operational and tactical issues, owning customer operational relationships, managing multiple accounts, liaising between Sales, Client Integration, and other teams, providing recommendations to ensure quality setup standards prior to launch, holding clients and partners accountable to tasks and timelines, and participating in Sales handoff and launch kick-off calls. Requires strong client relationship management, negotiation skills, business management knowledge, clear communication abilities, problem-solving skills, adherence to service level agreements, and teamwork across departments. Education requirement is a college degree or 2+ years experience implementing and explaining technical programs to nontechnical users.

What you'll do

  • Understand the client’s business at all levels (local, country, region) to evaluate delivery requirements
  • Serve as principal contact for operational & tactical issues representing delivery of all products and services to the client
  • Own customer operational relationship and deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage multiple accounts and tasks without error in delivery
  • Act as liaison between Sales, Client Integration, and cross-teams as needed to support client onboarding
  • Provide recommendations and best practices to ensure advertiser accounts meet maximum quality setup standards prior to launch
  • Hold Client and internal partners accountable to tasks and timeline in accordance with launch plan
  • Participate in Sales handoff/Launch Kick-off call

Requirements

  • Ability to build and manage strong client relationships
  • Strong influencer and possesses negotiation skills
  • Ability to apply business management, financial concepts & contracts knowledge to analyze business needs and develop recommendations
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise and persuasive communications for multiple audiences, including effective writing, presentation skills, and active listening
  • Ability to understand/analyze an issue or problem and develop/implement a corrective action plan
  • Meet and adhere to Service Level Agreement standards
  • Strong communication etiquette: calls/email
  • Ability to work across and foster team environment with Sales, Tech, Legal, Finance, and Client Development
  • College degree in a related field or 2+ years implementing, explaining and integrating technical programs for nontechnical users
