Full job description

AppLovin is seeking a junior-level, full-time, on-site BizOps analyst in Toronto. The role involves applying data-driven problem solving to scale consumer apps, identifying growth opportunities, analyzing large datasets using SQL, Python, and LLMs, and delivering actionable insights. Responsibilities include executing high-impact projects, designing alerting systems and dashboards, and collaborating cross-functionally with senior leadership and teams. Candidates should have 1-3 years experience in analytical roles, a quantitative bachelor's degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Preferred skills include graduate degrees, SQL, Python, Git, GenAI tools, and experience in mobile app ecosystems. Compensation ranges from $108,000 to $130,000 CAD plus benefits including equity, dental, and vision.

What you'll do

  • Apply data-driven problem solving to scale large consumer apps against key KPIs
  • Identify growth opportunities and translate insights into execution plans driving measurable business impact
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using SQL, LLMs, Python to uncover insights and root causes
  • Transform raw data into actionable recommendations to drive strategy and unlock growth
  • Own and execute high impact projects improving operational efficiency and unlocking new revenue streams
  • Partner with Business Development teams to roll out scalable, repeatable solutions
  • Design and implement alerting systems, dashboards, and frameworks to proactively identify issues and opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Senior Executives, Product, Engineering, and Creative Services teams
  • Test features, validate new tools, and shape high impact initiatives
  • Identify systemic gaps, escalate critical issues, and inform development of new products and capabilities

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytically driven role, ideally in high-growth tech, strategy & ops, product management, investment banking or top-tier consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., math, computer science, economics, engineering) or from a top-tier business school
  • Strong analytical ability with experience working across complex quantitative problems and large datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and analytical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid track record of working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Highly detail oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Thrives in fast-scaling environments with urgency and ambition
