Full job description

OpenX Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst for the Business Intelligence team within Finance. The role requires 4-6 years of experience in analytics, preferably in business intelligence, corporate finance, or strategic planning. Responsibilities include developing business analyses, automating and scaling reporting processes, delivering ad hoc analysis, and supporting decision-making with quantitative insights. Strong SQL skills and experience with large data sets are required; experience with Google BigQuery and Python is preferred. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to present to various management levels. The position is full-time and remote within the United States. Salary range is USD 106,250 to 125,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

What you'll do

  • Own and scale performance and revenue reporting tools for internal customers
  • Lead automation and optimization of Finance data pipelines and reporting processes
  • Deliver impactful ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support teams across the company
  • Develop, lead, and execute deep dive quantitative analyses to translate data into actionable insights
  • Provide analytical and decision-making support for key company initiatives
  • Present analysis and share findings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of analytical work experience, preferably within business intelligence, corporate finance or strategic planning
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred
  • Strong SQL skills required
  • Experience with Google BigQuery is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google suite of applications
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present to multiple levels of management
  • Proactive with a strong bias for action
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
