Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking a mid-level sales professional to join their growing Netherlands team. The role involves owning and scaling strategic partnerships with agencies and key clients in the Dutch market, managing the full partnership lifecycle, collaborating with internal teams, and meeting revenue targets. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in advertising sales or partnerships in the Netherlands, strong commercial acumen, ability to manage complex sales cycles, and excellent communication skills.

What you'll do

  • Join a high-growth Netherlands team at a pivotal stage of expansion
  • Own and scale strategic partnerships with leading agencies and key clients across the Dutch market
  • Build deep relationships by embedding within agency and client ecosystems
  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle—from onboarding to growth—ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience
  • Partner closely with Client Services and other internal teams to deliver best-in-class execution
  • Act as a trusted advisor and industry advocate, championing the open internet and transparency in digital advertising
  • Represent the company in-market through compelling presentations, events, and client engagements
  • Co-create bespoke and proprietary solutions with agencies to unlock incremental growth
  • Own and deliver against revenue targets, with accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and performance

Requirements

  • Experience in advertising sales or partnerships within the Dutch market
  • Deep knowledge of the Netherlands agency and publisher landscape, with a strong existing network
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships that drive long-term business impact
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset—able to build territory and create opportunities with autonomy
  • Quick learner, able to understand and articulate complex technology and translate it into client value
  • Collaborative by nature, with experience working cross-functionally to grow accounts
  • Confident communicator and presenter, able to influence and engage a variety of audiences
