Full job description

Tatari is seeking a senior Convergent TV Planner, Strategy & Insights to develop data-driven media strategies for clients across linear TV, streaming, and digital video. The role involves leveraging AI and proprietary tools to create audience-first plans, managing RFPs, scaling client media plans, and building pricing and budget models aligned with KPIs. Candidates must have 5+ years in media or strategic planning with knowledge of convergent TV landscapes and experience working with brands or agencies. Preferred experience includes audience measurement platforms, attribution, programmatic environments, and CRM tools like Salesforce. Benefits include $80,000-110,000 salary, equity, health insurance, 401K, education benefits, unlimited PTO, and hybrid work with 2 days in office weekly.

What you'll do

  • Develop audience-first media strategies grounded in data, competitive insights, and marketplace intelligence
  • Leverage Tatari's proprietary measurement tools alongside third-party audience platforms to identify where a client's target consumer actually watches, and build a media plan around that
  • Use AI tools to surface audience insights, identify patterns across campaigns, and pressure-test strategic assumptions
  • Craft clear, compelling narratives that connect strategy to outcomes
  • Lead RFP responses from brief intake to submission, managing timelines and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders
  • Develop scaling plans for existing clients that show a clear path from current state to growth opportunities
  • Create forward-looking scenario plans to help clients visualize media investment potential across budgets and objectives
  • Build pricing models, budget allocations, and investment recommendations aligned with client KPIs and Tatari's measurement framework
  • Translate complex media strategies into client-ready visuals and executive summaries
  • Incorporate AI tools into planning workflow to improve quality without sacrificing strategic rigor
  • Create reusable pitch materials including one-pagers, case studies, vertical playbooks, and capability decks
  • Contribute to building a repeatable, scalable planning system with templates, response libraries, and best practice documentation
  • Track proposal performance and win/loss patterns to improve future submissions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in media planning, strategic planning, or client strategy role within linear TV, streaming, or digital video
  • Working knowledge of the convergent TV landscape — linear fundamentals (dayparts, networks, ratings, reach/frequency) and the streaming/CTV ecosystem (platforms, targeting, measurement)
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can make media planning smarter — with hands-on experience or a demonstrated drive to build it
  • Proven track record developing strategic media proposals and supporting new and existing business growth
  • Experience working directly with brands, agencies, or advertisers in a client-facing capacity
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing strategic quality or missing deadlines
  • Curiosity and desire to learn, with particular emphasis for AI
  • Preferred: Knowledge of audience measurement platforms (Nielsen, Comscore, VideoAmp, iSpot, etc.)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with attribution and conversion measurement for video campaigns
  • Preferred: Background in agency planning, network sales planning, or DSP/programmatic environments
  • Preferred: Experience developing vertical-specific media strategies (CPG, fintech, DTC, health & wellness, etc.)
  • Preferred: Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
