Full job description

We are seeking a mid-level backend software engineer to design, build, and deploy AI system capabilities enhancing global media products. The role involves architecting and developing production-grade Python APIs, supporting data pipelines and distributed systems interacting with AI models, collaborating with stakeholders to design scalable systems, and ensuring robust deployment, scaling, and testing. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 6+ years coding experience including 2+ years in Python, 2+ years designing and maintaining enterprise RestAPIs, experience with concurrent systems (asyncio, tornado, celery), data persistence technologies (Redis, Postgres, NoSQL, MongoDB), and monitoring enterprise systems. Familiarity with LLMs, containerization, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
