Backend Software Engineer in Data role at Criteo's Partner Data Integration team. Responsibilities include building scalable, low-latency APIs and backend services handling up to 40 billion requests daily, integrating Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals, collaborating with a multicultural team, and working on long-term infrastructure roadmaps. Requires 4+ years experience in large complex systems, proficiency in Java, Scala or C#, commitment to quality design and testing. Bonus for familiarity with machine learning. What you'll do

  • Build business-critical APIs, services and backend components with high quality and maintainability
  • Ensure compliance with rigorous SLAs (less than 45ms) and handle up to 40 billion requests per day
  • Integrate and test Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals within the creative ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with mentor and multi-cultural team to drive projects and apply best practices
  • Work with other engineering teams to develop long-term roadmaps, ML models, designs and architectures

Requirements

  • Passionate software engineer with interest in low-latency/large-scale back-end systems
  • At least 4 years of experience developing and extending large and complex systems
  • Strong commitment to quality designs, automated testing and documentation
  • Proficient in Java, Scala or C#
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning theory and models (bonus)
