Full job description

Associate Media Specialist responsible for editing and managing media for online surveys. Work closely with internal clients to define media roles and ensure quality execution. Tasks include accurate media editing, creating frames for surveys, managing multiple complex projects, improving productivity, creating training materials, and assisting with technical survey preparation. Requires Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Software Development or related field, 2+ years experience in video editing/programming, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video conversion tools, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MS Office Suite, and knowledge of Confirmit software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and communication skills needed.

What you'll do

  • Ensure media is edited accurately and meets researcher’s specifications
  • Create and design frames to implement media within programmed surveys
  • Multi-task and manage complex projects at various stages
  • Seek ways to enhance productivity and find efficiencies
  • Create training and update process documentation
  • Assist in technical aspects of survey preparation tasks
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Software Development or related field
  • 2+ years working experience in a video editing and/or programming capacity
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with video conversion and encoding tools
  • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Confirmit software is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor communication approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
