Full job description

The Associate Client Services Manager manages day-to-day execution and client experience for direct and programmatic ad accounts. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 4 days per week in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities include ensuring campaigns launch on time and meet goals, maintaining strong client relationships, delivering insightful performance reports, identifying upsell and renewal opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues. Required skills include 1+ years in digital media or ad tech, knowledge of campaign mechanics (trafficking, tagging), proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, strong communication skills, and familiarity with digital media metrics. Preferred experience includes working with cross-functional teams and campaign troubleshooting. Salary range is $64,000 to $68,000 USD.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day execution and client experience across a shared book of direct and programmatic accounts
  • Ensure campaigns launch correctly, perform to goal, and support retention and growth
  • Manage campaign lifecycle from kickoff through delivery without delays or escalations
  • Maintain warm, responsive, and trust-based client relationships
  • Deliver performance reports with clear insights and actionable takeaways
  • Identify and flag upsell and renewal opportunities proactively
  • Communicate client feedback and demand-side needs to internal teams to keep campaigns on track

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or a client-facing role in agency planning, buying, or ad operations
  • Working knowledge of direct and programmatic campaign mechanics, including trafficking, tagging, and asset collection
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and data organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and deliver clear client-facing presentations
  • Familiarity with digital media metrics and industry terminology
  • Preferred: Experience working across cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and creative
  • Preferred: Exposure to campaign troubleshooting in direct or programmatic environments
