Full job description

Seeking an Associate Director/Director of Product Management to lead development of advertising solutions for conversational AI interfaces. Responsibilities include defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap for conversational AI advertising, leading product discovery, designing scalable monetization products, and collaborating with engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams. Requires 7+ years in product management with experience in advertising technology and programmatic marketplaces, strong technical fluency, leadership skills, and experience with AI-driven systems. Position is full-time, hybrid work schedule based in Redwood City, US. Compensation range $170,000 to $250,000 USD plus bonus, RSUs, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap for conversational AI advertising
  • Lead product discovery for advertising in conversational interfaces preserving user trust and advertiser value
  • Translate advertiser, publisher, and platform needs into scalable monetization products
  • Design and build systems supporting conversational ad formats, intent and conversation-context signals, targeting and eligibility models, auction and ranking mechanisms, advertiser onboarding and campaign management, attribution models for multi-turn conversational discovery
  • Partner with engineering and machine learning teams to integrate conversational inventory into programmatic advertising ecosystem
  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration
  • Collaborate with sales, partnerships, product marketing, and customer success teams to define go-to-market strategies and drive adoption
  • Measure product performance, analyze marketplace dynamics, and iterate to improve advertiser and publisher monetization
  • Stay current on developments in AI, conversational interfaces, commerce platforms, and advertising technology

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Significant experience in advertising technology, programmatic marketplaces, or large-scale ad platforms
  • Deep understanding of ad marketplace dynamics including auctions, targeting systems, advertiser workflows, and measurement frameworks
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling platform products or new inventory types within complex advertising ecosystems
  • Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineering and data science teams
  • Experience translating ambiguous opportunities into clear product strategy and shipped platform capabilities
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to influence engineering, business teams, and senior leadership
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with bias toward action in emerging markets
  • Experience with AI-driven systems, recommendation platforms, or conversational interfaces is highly valued
