Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts role responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable operations, vendor governance, payment controls, and ledger integrity. Key duties include managing the full payment lifecycle, vendor onboarding with verification of bank and tax details, performing vendor ledger reconciliations, identifying process inefficiencies and implementing automation, collaborating with business units for payment prioritization and approvals, conducting detailed vendor aging reviews, and representing the accounts payable function during audits. The position is based on-site in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

What you'll do

  • Manage full payment cycle from invoice validation to fund release via corporate banking portals
  • Own vendor onboarding process including bank details and PAN/GST validation
  • Perform periodic reconciliations of high-value vendor ledgers against internal books
  • Identify manual bottlenecks in payment process and implement automation
  • Act as primary point of contact for Business Units team and review output quality
  • Partner with Business Unit heads to arrange payment approvals
  • Perform deep-dive reviews of vendor aging to identify debit balances, unapplied credits, or old parked items
  • Represent accounts payable function during audits
