Full job description

Nexxen is hiring an Assistant Controller for the Finance team in Tel Aviv. The role involves managing revenue and cost accounting processes, preparing and reviewing revenue reports, performing monthly analyses, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, collaborating with Sales, Legal, and Operations teams, supporting audits, improving processes and internal controls, and handling complex revenue transactions per accounting standards. Requirements include a BA in accounting, CPA certification, internship experience at a Big 4 accounting firm (preferably in High-Tech), strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, advanced Excel skills, NetSuite experience (preferred), and high English proficiency. The position is full-time and hybrid.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of the revenue/cost accounting area, including end-to-end processes and controls
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports
  • Perform detailed monthly analyses and provide insights to senior management
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to understand deal structures and accounting implications
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance internal controls
  • Support the accounting treatment of complex revenue transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Requirements

  • BA degree in accounting and CPA certification
  • Internship in one of the big 4 accounting firms – Must. High-Tech division - advantage
  • Independent and well-organized with multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization and externally, including global functions
  • Versatile and flexible, with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent Excel skills (must)
  • NetSuite experience (advantage)
  • High level of English
