Full job description
Join the Data Engineering team in Paris to build Addressability features. Work in a multi-expertise team of back-end developers and Data Engineers to build and query a multi-billion entry Id Graph, integrate third party data providers, and provide behavioral analytics to business teams. Responsibilities include integrating external partners into the graph, evaluating graph performance, monitoring and ensuring stability, improving graph parameters, designing feature-performance trade-offs, supporting business analyses, and integrating retail media IDs for attribution. Requirements: 3-4 years experience with complex modeling and fine-tuning, expert knowledge of Google Big Query or equivalent, business acumen to translate technical analyses for executives, Aerospike experience is a plus, familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (ideally GCP), leadership and mentoring skills, customer-oriented approach, proficiency in English, passion for high-quality maintainable code, entrepreneurial spirit, and personal coding projects.
What you'll do
- Integration of external partners into the graph
- Evaluation of our graph vs. partners' graphs
- Monitoring and failsafe to produce a stable graph
- Improvement of our graph by taking more parameters into account
- Design trade offs (feature vs performance)
- Business support on external partners' coverage analyses
- Integration of retail media IDs into the graph for simplified attribution
Requirements
- 3-4 years of seniority with a first experience on a complex modeling topic (with heavy fine-tuning)
- Expert knowledge of Google Big Query or equivalent data warehouse
- Business acumen and vulgarization skills, able to reframe technical analyses for senior executives and translate their needs into actionable questions
- Aerospike experience is a big plus
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (ideally GCP)
- Able to lead design discussions and mentor others
- Customer oriented approach: deliver clean and usable solutions for customers
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Passion for writing high quality and maintainable code following Software Craftsmanship or Continuous Delivery
- Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to identify opportunities of improvement
- Personal projects with code sharing
