Full job description

Analyst, Traffic Quality role in Broomfield, CO with a hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday-Thursday in-office). Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing data to detect invalid traffic and ad fraud, developing detection models and automated rules, auditing traffic quality, investigating suspicious actors, resolving escalations, educating stakeholders, partnering with Product and Engineering on anti-fraud features, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requires BA/BS, 2+ years internet experience (ad-tech preferred), client-facing experience, expert Excel skills, SQL query experience, understanding of internet protocols and web technologies, strong problem-solving and communication skills, fast learner, and strong ethics. Salary range $65,000–$75,000 in Colorado, plus annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, time off, 401k, and more.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and analyze data sets to identify anomalies, invalid traffic, and ad fraud schemes
  • Develop and refine detection models, heuristics, and automated rules to mitigate fraud
  • Evaluate traffic ecosystem health through continuous auditing for quality and compliance
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into suspicious actors to dismantle malicious operations
  • Resolve complex traffic quality escalations and advertiser disputes with data-driven justifications
  • Educate stakeholders on inventory guidelines, resources, and optimization
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to design and implement anti-fraud features
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Uphold industry standards and best practices such as MRC guidelines and TAG compliance

Requirements

  • BA/BS required
  • 2+ years of experience in an Internet environment; 2 years of ad-tech experience a plus
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Experience writing and executing SQL queries to extract and analyze data
  • Solid understanding of basic internet protocols and web technologies, including IP addresses, user agent strings, and network call tracing
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to connect data points and spot subtle anomalies
  • Ability to articulate findings clearly and defend data-driven conclusions
  • Fast learner able to adapt to evolving tactics of nefarious actors
  • Strong ethical compass and desire to protect advertisers, partners, and platform integrity
