Full job description

The Analyst, Accounts Receivable role focuses on revenue reconciliations, SOX controls preparation and execution, and audit support across receivables and revenue-related topics. Responsibilities include performing reconciliations, preparing control evidence, supporting audits, partnering with FP&A, Controlling, Billing, and other stakeholders, and supporting rebates processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, solid experience in accounts receivable or revenue accounting, knowledge of SOX controls, experience with SAP and Excel, strong analytical skills, and professional English proficiency. The position is full-time with a hybrid work model based in Barcelona, Spain.

What you'll do

  • Own and perform key revenue and receivables reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances and open items
  • Prepare, execute, and strengthen SOX controls related to revenue, billing, and receivables
  • Support internal and external audits by organizing documentation and ensuring audit coverage
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities with reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Monitor billing and receivable transactions for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies
  • Partner with Billing, FP&A, Controlling and other teams to align reporting and explain variances
  • Support rebates process including follow-up, reconciliations, and issue resolution
  • Prepare recurring reporting and analysis related to reconciliations, control execution, audit readiness, and rebates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve revenue, receivable, and rebate issues efficiently
  • Contribute to process improvements enhancing control effectiveness and reducing manual effort

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid experience in Accounts Receivable, OTC, revenue accounting, reconciliations, or general accounting roles
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and SOX requirements, ideally within an international or shared services environment
  • Experience working with revenue and receivables reconciliations, audit support, and month-end close processes
  • Exposure to rebates processes or related accounting activities is a plus
  • Comfortable working with ERP and accounting tools, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel or spreadsheet capabilities
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively
  • Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with Finance, business teams, and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional proficiency in English
