Full job description

Smadex, a mobile and CTV advertising technology company in Barcelona, is hiring an AI Enablement Lead. This full-time role is responsible for driving AI adoption from R&D into operational practice, designing and running training programs, maintaining AI adoption roadmaps, tracking adoption metrics, and managing governance frameworks. The role requires 4-7 years of experience in AI adoption, operations, technical program management, or similar, with proven success in embedding AI into team workflows. Technical fluency to review AI solutions and configure tools is needed, along with strong cross-functional communication skills. The position offers a hybrid work model with 2 days remote per week, a competitive compensation package, and benefits including meal vouchers, gym allowance, training opportunities, and team events. What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end journey from AI build to operational practice, driving AI into team workflows
  • Maintain the AI adoption roadmap, balancing what gets embedded next and team capacity
  • Track adoption metrics and identify blockers with actionable recommendations
  • Own the governance framework for AI tools, usage standards, and exceptions
  • Design and run structured training sessions and courses to ensure AI adoption
  • Build learning pathways tailored to different team profiles and workflow needs
  • Be the first escalation point to unblock teams on AI use cases quickly
  • Coordinate the regional AI Ambassador network to amplify impact
  • Review ROI analyses from R&D Lead against operational reality
  • Maintain prioritization across adoption roadmap and flag capacity constraints
  • Track delivered outcomes against projected ROI and identify patterns
  • Maintain hands-on capability to review AI solutions, assess workflows, and configure integrations
  • Ensure security and efficiency standards are met and hold teams accountable
  • Contribute to tool evaluations and capability assessments alongside R&D Lead

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in AI adoption, operations, technical programme management, solutions consulting, or a similar hands-on change role
  • A track record of making AI actually land: changing how a team works day to day with examples
  • Operational design instincts: able to create frameworks and processes that are genuinely used under time pressure
  • Technical fluency to follow agent architecture conversations, review workflow designs, and configure lightweight AI tools independently
  • Cross-functional credibility: able to earn trust with commercial, product, and technical stakeholders and adapt communication accordingly
  • Bonus: Experience designing or leading an enablement function, Centre of Excellence, or similar internal capability structure
  • Bonus: Background in adtech, programmatic, or performance marketing
  • Bonus: Signs of a people management trajectory such as informal mentoring, leading project teams, or coordinating across functions
  • Must have legal permit to work in Spain (no visa sponsorship)
