Full job description

Seeking a senior AEM Technical Architect/SME to lead and scale Adobe Experience Manager capabilities within ACS GDC. Responsibilities include defining technical vision for AEM and Edge Delivery Services, establishing best practices, providing architectural oversight, driving adoption of Generative and Agentic AI, supporting pre-sales, building competency roadmaps, conducting trainings, ensuring quality and governance, and leading a team of AEM professionals. Requires 12+ years in digital experience platforms, 4+ years as AEM Architect, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, deep expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, Cloud Service, and AI technologies. Remote role based in India.

What you'll do

  • Define and drive the technical vision for AEM and AEM Edge Delivery Services
  • Establish and standardize best practices, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and governance models
  • Provide architectural oversight ensuring scalability, performance, and security
  • Drive consistency in architecture and delivery standards across teams
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI across AEM use cases
  • Identify and implement AI-powered accelerators for content lifecycle, DAM, and customer journeys
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI into digital experience platforms
  • Partner with sales and solution teams to support proposals and client presentations
  • Provide technical estimations, architecture blueprints, and capability showcases
  • Contribute to and evolve the competency roadmap for AEM and AI capabilities
  • Strengthen and scale Centers of Excellence for AEM and AI-driven solutions
  • Conduct internal trainings, workshops, and certification programs
  • Establish coding standards, review mechanisms, and delivery governance
  • Ensure alignment with Adobe best practices and enterprise architecture standards
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AEM developers, architects, and leads
  • Drive hiring strategy, onboarding, and capability development
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and career planning
  • Drive skill transformation of the team
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Act as an escalation point for delivery challenges and ensure successful outcomes

Requirements

  • 12+ years in digital experience platforms
  • 4+ years hands-on experience as AEM Architect
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance management
  • Deep experience in AEM Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, and AEM Cloud Service
  • Exposure to AEM Edge Delivery Services highly preferred
  • AEM Architect certification preferred
  • Hands-on or strategic experience with Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, content automation)
  • Strong understanding of Agentic AI systems and their application in enterprise workflows
  • Strong experience in solution architecture leveraging AEM, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native systems
  • Proven technical leadership for large and complex engagements
  • Experience working with global clients and pre-sales teams
