Full job description

The Advertising Sales Manager on the Enterprise Sales Team in Seoul will identify, engage, and secure partnerships to expand and diversify content offerings. Requires minimum 3 years experience in advertiser sales, preferably in digital media with Korean clients. Must understand digital technology and revenue ecosystems, be well-connected with Korean media suppliers, and have experience structuring deals in the Korean digital media space. Responsibilities include selling multiple products, managing sales pipeline and forecasts, collaborating with sales and account management teams, providing market intelligence to product teams, building and closing leads, and negotiating contracts. Native Korean and English communication skills required. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office. Benefits include locally relevant perks.

What you'll do

  • Sell multiple products to clients by identifying the right stakeholders for each product while maintaining a coherent product message and overall strategy
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Work closely with the Advertising Sales Director and Korea sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Interact with the Account Management team to manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Convey field intelligence to product management teams regarding feature development
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals
  • Manage presentations, build relationships, and negotiate contracts within the Korean market

Requirements

  • Min. of 3 years working in an advertiser sales position, preferably at a digital media company, working with Korean clients
  • Understanding of digital technology & revenue ecosystem and ability to explain product benefits within this context
  • Well-connected with media suppliers in Korea
  • Significant experience in structuring deals, preferably within the digital media space in Korea
  • Passion for online content and strong sales drive with ability to build strategic partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and reports
  • Excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn to support campaign implementation and optimization
  • Native level written and conversational Korean and able to communicate in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and eagerness to learn
