Full job description
Advertising Sales Manager role in Tokyo responsible for building and growing strategic partnerships with advertisers and agencies in Japan. What you'll do
- Identify, pitch, and close new advertising deals with brands and agencies
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and introduce them to Taboola’s platform
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and forecast business outcomes with accuracy
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth campaign setup and delivery
- Share on-the-ground insights with product teams to influence new features and improvements
- Lead contract negotiations and ongoing relationship management across the Japan market
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience selling in the Japan market within a tech or online media environment
- A strategic mindset with experience planning and executing effective sales strategies
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to tailor pitches to client needs
- Confidence in using data and analytics to guide decision-making and influence client outcomes
- A proactive and driven approach to building pipeline, closing deals, and driving revenue
- A collaborative attitude — partner closely with internal teams across account management, marketing, legal, and product
