Viant is hiring an Advertising Operations Coordinator to join their Operations team at the Irvine headquarters. The role involves supporting the execution, monitoring, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns on Viant’s AI-powered omnichannel platform. Responsibilities include campaign setup, trafficking, QA, launch, monitoring pacing and performance, troubleshooting, quality assurance, optimization, reporting, documentation, and process improvements. The candidate will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Programmatic Strategy, and Technical Operations teams. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, 1-3 years of relevant experience, understanding of digital advertising concepts such as programmatic and DSPs, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, and experience with ad tech platforms is a plus. The position is full-time, junior level, and hybrid. Salary range is $28-30 per hour.
What you'll do
- Support campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and launch activities across Viant’s advertising platform
- Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance to ensure client objectives are met
- Troubleshoot campaign issues and coordinate resolutions with internal technical and operational teams
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure campaign configurations, creative assets, and targeting parameters are accurate
- Assist with campaign optimizations by analyzing performance data and implementing recommendations
- Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Strategy teams to support client deliverables and execution timelines
- Generate campaign reports, performance insights, and operational updates for internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation of campaign requirements, workflows, and operational processes
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality across the Operations organization
- Stay informed on digital advertising trends, platform capabilities, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, account coordination, digital media, or a related field
- Understanding of digital advertising concepts including programmatic, DSPs, ad serving, targeting, and measurement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and identify trends
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools
- Experience working with ad tech platforms, campaign management systems, or digital marketing technologies is a plus
