Full job description

Advertiser Account Manager role based in Tokyo office managing Tier 1 brand and agency clients. Requires 5-7 years client-facing sales or account management experience, strong sales and analytical skills, excellent time management, native Japanese and English communication, and experience with revenue KPIs. Responsibilities include client communication for upselling, campaign launches and management, creative management, proactive consultation, reporting, quarterly business reviews, and business growth analysis. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office. Experience with native advertising platforms and ad-operations is a plus.

What you'll do

  • Day-to-day communication with agencies and clients for upselling activities
  • Campaign launches including technical requests to Ad Ops (conversion tracking codes, targeting, spending caps, pacing)
  • Campaign management to help clients hit goals, budgeting and scaling
  • Creative management including tracking codes, images, headlines, upselling content and a/b testing
  • Proactive consultation to ensure clients follow best practices and maximize account success
  • Reporting and creating custom reports for clients
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts
  • Analyze book of business and identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a client facing sales or account management role
  • Strong sales capability with professional communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with interest in data analysis to improve results
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills (handled a minimum of 10 accounts)
  • Outstanding communication skills – native level Japanese, can communicate in English
  • Experience working with revenue KPIs
