Full job description

Equativ Japan K.K., based in Tokyo, is seeking a senior Ad Operations professional with 5+ years experience in media and AdTech focused on programmatic advertising. The role involves managing, trading, and optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs, working with DSP partners, curators, and agencies, supporting campaign execution and post-sale processes, and developing expertise in the Maestro platform. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Japanese, have experience in global distributed teams, and deep knowledge of SSPs, DSPs, and IAB standards. The position is full-time with hybrid remote work (Wednesdays and Thursdays work-from-home policy).

What you'll do

  • Manage, trade, and optimize campaigns to meet client KPIs and performance objectives
  • Work closely with DSP partners, Curators, and Agency stakeholders for effective campaign management and optimization
  • Support curators in executing campaign briefs by coordinating with internal supply teams
  • Oversee and support the full post-sale process including campaign setup, pacing, delivery management, incremental revenue generation, and post-campaign performance analysis
  • Develop deep expertise in the Maestro platform (Equativ Curation & Activation platform)
  • Respond promptly to urgent trading requests and provide first-level troubleshooting support
  • Collaborate with Support and Technical Operations teams to resolve complex technical and delivery-related issues
  • Partner with Equativ teams across regions to drive operational synergies, share best practices, and support regional growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • Proven experience working in a global, distributed team environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
  • 5+ years of experience in the media and AdTech industry focused on managing and optimizing programmatic advertising campaigns
  • Deep expertise within the programmatic ecosystem including SSPs, DSPs, and IAB standards and best practices
  • Highly autonomous and proactive with strong sense of ownership
