Full job description

The Account Manager will manage customer accounts and relationships, overseeing campaigns from kick-off to billing. Responsibilities include managing agency and advertiser relationships, client onboarding, implementation, reporting, remediation, billing, and ensuring service quality. The role requires collaboration with Sales, Implementation, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams. Candidates must have experience in sales or account management within online advertising, strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of ad serving technology. The position is hybrid with 3 days in the Mumbai office and 2 days remote. Salary is based on qualifications and experience, with eligibility for bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Proactively manage day-to-day Agency and Advertiser relationships of assigned accounts
  • Provide strategic and tactical client service to a complex, high touch customer base
  • Oversee assigned portfolios, identifying growth opportunities within existing client base
  • Manage client business processes including onboarding, implementation, reporting, remediation, and billing
  • Ensure quality of services and solutions, resolve support requests, troubleshoot reporting, ad-serving, or data issues
  • Organize and conduct kick-off and ongoing calls with clients and internal teams
  • Compile performance evaluations highlighting DoubleVerify value proposition
  • Monitor and report campaign performance to ensure delivery and billing, extract insights from reports
  • Facilitate and ensure contract billing process is timely and of quality
  • Manage customer expectations throughout campaign lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior and mid-management levels
  • Manage relationships across Advertisers, Agencies, Networks, Publishers, and 3rd Party Technology partners
  • Participate in client meetings to understand partner goals and objectives
  • Manage or participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Provide customer insights internally to improve products and services
  • Attend offsite meetings, conferences or industry events as necessary
  • Handle special projects as identified by management

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales or Account Management with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent/higher level of education
  • Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Direct experience working at one or more of the following: advertising agency, publisher, ad network or demand side platform
  • Experience with Ad Serving technology
  • Comprehensive understanding of the online media marketplace
  • Experience managing online media products and technologies such as creative trafficking, campaign management, or ad serving
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player
  • Proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and perform in high pressure environments
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management including senior executive level
  • Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive “can-do” approach
  • Hybrid position with 3 days in Mumbai office and 2 WFH days
