Full job description

Account Manager role reporting to Account Director and Head of Account Management, China. Location options include Shanghai, Beijing, or Guangzhou, China. Responsibilities include developing client strategies with Sales, Trading, DnA, and Marketing teams; managing and growing key accounts; campaign management including media planning, creative asset coordination, tag trafficking, campaign activation, monitoring, and reporting; administrative support with Salesforce IO management and invoice query resolution; technical support implementing and troubleshooting tracking pixels and tag management systems (GTM, Tealium); maintaining product and industry knowledge; and delivering insight-driven recommendations. Requirements include 3+ years in advertising/media agency or similar, client-facing programmatic advertising experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and alignment with company values. What you'll do

  • Develop client-specific strategy with Sales, Trading, DnA, and Marketing teams
  • Adapt focus and priorities based on new information while steering towards goals
  • Protect and grow key accounts via upsell and cross-sell
  • Listen to stakeholders and clients to understand needs and identify solutions
  • Flex to client needs without compromising company interests and resolve issues swiftly
  • Maintain regular communication including meetings, entertainment, and business reviews
  • Stay informed on industry trends and their impact on company and clients
  • QA pre-campaign documents and develop detailed media plans
  • Manage creative asset build and campaign setup requirements
  • Manage creative tag trafficking
  • Request and deliver screengrabs
  • Ensure client reporting setup
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance
  • Request campaign upweights as appropriate
  • Manage and deliver post-campaign reporting and insights
  • Manage re-booking of BAU activity
  • Manage IOs and understand sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Reconcile bookings and support invoice query resolution
  • Implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues with Tech team support
  • Understand product suite, activation requirements, and USPs versus competitors
  • Research industry trends and their impact on company and clients
  • Deliver insight-driven recommendations during and post campaign
  • Recognize patterns and points of differentiation to provide actionable insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an advertising/media agency or similar
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Client-facing experience in programmatic advertising (Client Services, Sales Support, Ad-Ops background)
