Merkle, part of dentsu, is seeking an Account Director for its Austria office focused on managing and expanding accounts in the Financial Services Industry (FSI). The role involves commercial leadership, client advisory as a Trusted Advisor, managing account and project teams, coordinating internal collaboration, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Responsibilities include revenue and margin accountability for existing FSI clients, defining and pursuing strategic goals with clients, and acquiring new clients in the FSI market. Candidates should have a university degree (preferably in business informatics or business administration with IT focus), several years of relevant experience in client management preferably in consulting or agency environments, experience leading large accounts in digital transformation, broad knowledge of digital topics such as e-commerce, customer data platforms, content management systems, and relevant financial services industry expertise. Strong networking skills and confident executive presence are required. The position offers a starting gross annual salary of EUR 70,000 with flexibility based on experience, 25 vacation days plus wellness and volunteering days, mental health programs, various individual and universal benefits, flexible working hours with home office options, and a modern office in Vienna.
