The Account Director is responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s contextual advertising platform. Reporting to the NSW Sales Director, this role develops key relationships within large and mid-size agencies with occasional managerial guidance. Requires 6+ years of digital media experience and deep knowledge of online media and advertising. The role applies independent judgment to select appropriate options from GumGum’s products. The position is hybrid with in-office collaboration three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday). Responsibilities include managing a $3M–$4M+ annual book of business, hunting new opportunities, growing agency relationships, converting leads, expanding client investments, advising clients, shaping product roadmap, and partnering with cross-functional teams. Requirements include a bachelor's degree preferred, 6+ years sales experience, programmatic expertise, strong agency relationships, Salesforce proficiency, excellent communication, organizational skills, business acumen, and analytical judgment.
