Full job description
Account Director role managing strategic demand-side relationships with agency holdcos in Spain. Responsible for selling premium programmatic deals across display, video, audio, CTV, and native formats. Requires 5+ years in online advertising with strong sales account management skills, understanding of online advertising dynamics, and ability to analyze large data sets. Role involves building client relationships, coordinating campaigns, driving revenue, providing training, and evaluating ad tech trends. Hybrid work schedule with two remote days (Monday, Friday) and three in-office days (Tuesday to Thursday) in Madrid, Spain. What you'll do
- Build, manage and understand strategic relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and buyers across the programmatic ecosystem including agency holding companies, publishers and third-party organisations
- Work closely with internal teams (media planning, client services and product) to lead projects and deliver revenue performance for publisher partners through ongoing management of agencies
- Coordinate with internal groups to launch new campaigns, troubleshoot existing ones, and conduct daily monitoring of technological projects
- Own book of business by building new business opportunities, selling to clients at all levels, and upselling/cross-selling existing campaigns and deals
- Deliver exceptional customer service, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Provide training and support to buyers within the region on the full buyer portfolio
- Evaluate the evolving ad tech ecosystem for new ideas/opportunities to guide company business strategy and growth
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in online advertising from an ad network, trading desk, publisher, agency or advertising technology platform
- Detailed understanding of online advertising dynamics and campaign planning & buying
- Deep understanding and passion for industry trends and technological solutions for buyers
- Experience in sales account management
- Strong analytical skills including ability to spot trends in large data sets
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to a constantly evolving market
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to problem solve
