Full job description

Pacvue is hiring a VP of AI Strategy & Delivery to lead AI strategy and execution across AI Labs, Pacvue Agent, and Machine Learning. This senior leadership role reports to the Chief Product Officer and focuses on scaling the global AI and Data Science organization, enhancing AI capabilities across retail media, DSP products, activation, measurement, and optimization. Responsibilities include customer engagement, leading AI/ML/Data Science teams, accelerating AI product experiences, managing AI Labs experimentation, and partnering across product and GTM teams. Candidates must have 10+ years in AI, ML, Data Science, or related fields with experience leading teams and delivering scalable customer-facing AI products. Strong communication, product judgment, and willingness to travel are required. Benefits include flexible PTO, medical and dental coverage, 401k match, paid parental leave, and wellness memberships. Salary range is $250,000-$310,000 USD base plus bonus. This is a remote role based in the US.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a senior customer-facing voice for Pacvue on AI, machine learning, Pacvue Agent, agentic workflows, automation, measurement intelligence, and commerce media
  • Engage with enterprise brands, agencies, retailers, and partners to understand AI priorities and adoption barriers
  • Support executive briefings, customer advisory boards, strategic sales conversations, industry events, and thought leadership
  • Translate customer feedback into AI strategy, experimentation themes, product priorities, and roadmap decisions
  • Lead Pacvue’s AI, ML, and Data Science organization across experimentation, applied models, recommendations, optimization, measurement intelligence, forecasting, workflow automation, and agentic AI
  • Partner with AI and Data Science leaders to scale the organization and increase AI impact across products
  • Create operating clarity across AI Labs, production ML/AI, Data Science, Pacvue Agent, and agentic workflows
  • Ensure AI, ML and Data Science teams are aligned, focused, and executing seamlessly
  • Accelerate Pacvue Agent as a core AI experience and lead agentic AI strategy across workflows and automation
  • Define AI roles in recommendation, explanation, action, escalation, and learning within workflows
  • Partner with Product Growth and Customer Success to ensure AI adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Lead AI Labs focused on rapid experimentation, prototyping, and validation of emerging AI capabilities
  • Identify high-potential AI use cases and determine production roadmap inclusion
  • Create disciplined experimentation balancing speed, value, feasibility, responsible AI, and impact
  • Own product and technical direction for ML, AI, and Data Science capabilities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and AI/DS leaders to build reliable, scalable, explainable AI product experiences
  • Drive decisions on model quality, explainability, trust, governance, evaluation, and adoption
  • Collaborate with Media, Product Growth, Retail Media, Measurement, Platform, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to integrate AI into core products
  • Translate AI capabilities into customer narratives, business value, packaging, and market positioning
  • Ensure AI is embedded into core product workflows, not standalone features

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in AI, ML, Data Science, product leadership, enterprise software, ad tech, commerce media, or related fields at a global level
  • Experience leading AI, ML, or Data Science teams within a product-led organization
  • Track record of turning advanced technical capabilities into scalable customer-facing products
  • Experience leading through senior technical and product leaders with ability to coach and scale teams
  • Strong understanding of applied AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, recommendation systems, optimization, forecasting, measurement, or decisioning platforms
  • Strong customer-facing executive presence with ability to explain AI clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Strong product judgment to distinguish high-value AI use cases from low-value demos
  • Excellent communication skills to make AI understandable, credible, and actionable
  • Willingness to travel for customer-facing events and meetings, including regular trips to China
