Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a mid-level programmatic trader to manage day-to-day trading for a portfolio of accounts, supporting Senior Traders. Responsibilities include developing trading strategies, independently owning accounts, training clients, and growing client business through value-added services. The role requires extensive programmatic advertising experience, client-facing skills, strong communication, time management, troubleshooting, analytical, and quantitative abilities. Location: London.

What you'll do

  • Handle day-to-day trading efforts for a portfolio of accounts, supporting Senior Traders
  • Partner with business teams to add product knowledge and develop trading strategies
  • Own numerous accounts independently and identify opportunities to grow accounts
  • Train new and existing clients in platform operations and onboard new clients
  • Develop expertise in product offerings and act as an internal resource
  • Pursue ways to grow client business through value-added services
  • Assist Senior Traders in onboarding and developing newer traders
  • Provide additional value through cultural contributions, collaboration, case studies, beta testing, and feedback
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly across audiences with varying expertise

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within programmatic advertising
  • Client-facing experience, building and developing relationships
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Strong quantitative skills and passion for mining insights from large datasets
