Full job description

Technical Program Director role to manage and drive execution across US engineering teams. Responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, stakeholder communication, team coordination, risk and process management. Requires 7+ years technical project management experience in software development, strong understanding of SDLC and agile, experience with distributed teams, excellent communication skills, and ability to navigate technical discussions. Preferred experience in ad tech, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, infrastructure or data engineering projects, and relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master). What you'll do

  • Develop project roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables
  • Manage resource allocation and task prioritization across engineering teams
  • Track progress and adjust plans based on changing requirements
  • Ensure consistent delivery cadence across multiple projects
  • Provide regular status updates to executives and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate alignment between technical teams and business objectives
  • Manage expectations and negotiate scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs
  • Maintain transparent communication across international teams
  • Facilitate team meetings and status sync-ups across multiple time zones
  • Remove blockers to enable team productivity
  • Foster collaboration between development, infrastructure, and data engineering teams
  • Drive knowledge sharing and documentation across distributed teams
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Track dependencies across multiple projects and teams
  • Establish and optimize project management best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on team feedback

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical project management experience in software development environments
  • Proven track record delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience managing projects across distributed teams and multiple time zones
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate technical discussions with engineering teams
  • Experience with project management tools and documentation practices
  • Background in ad tech, fraud prevention, or cybersecurity domains (preferred)
  • Experience managing infrastructure or data engineering projects (preferred)
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and dependency tracking (preferred)
  • Experience implementing process improvements that drive measurable efficiency gains (preferred)
