Seeking a Staff Research Scientist to drive innovation in deep learning and LLMs, advancing real-time bidding and recommendation systems at production scale. Responsibilities include designing and prototyping ML approaches, coding and experimentation, improving model performance, deploying and monitoring ML models in production, staying current with deep learning research, collaborating cross-functionally, and providing technical expertise. Requires Master's or Ph.D. with 5-7+ years in ML R&D or applied ML, strong skills in PyTorch, transformers, LLMs, traditional ML techniques, Python programming, real-time systems, distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark). Strong communication skills needed. Hybrid work schedule in Bellevue, WA office (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Salary $200,000 - $270,000 USD base plus equity.
