Full job description

Kargo is hiring a senior full-time remote Data Platform Engineer to build a unified data platform enabling self-serve advertising campaigns across multiple channels. The role involves building a data control plane for governance, paved road tools for data products, enforcement layers for data standards, and observability features. The engineer will set technical direction and collaborate across teams. Required skills include Python, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and experience building metadata-driven platforms and observability tools. Preferred experience includes streaming data, Spark, Iceberg, Snowflake, and ad tech domain knowledge.
