StackAdapt is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Finance team in Canada. This full-time remote role involves supporting the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, investigating variances, and maintaining accurate financial records. The candidate will document and improve accounting processes using technology and automation. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, reviewing financial data, maintaining audit workpapers, documenting processes, identifying workflow improvements, collaborating with teams, learning accounting systems (NetSuite, FloQast, Zip), and participating in projects. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of accounting experience with month-end close exposure, foundational accounting knowledge, experience with journal entries and reconciliations, strong attention to detail, process documentation skills, communication skills, CPA designation or progress, and experience with ERP systems and AI/automation tools is a plus. Salary range is $76,000 to $104,500 CAD.
