Full job description
Support day-to-day accounting for three entities focusing on month-end close, intercompany billing, reconciliations, and about 25% A/R collections. Prepare accruals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, maintain SOX documentation, manage lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue accounting (ASC 606), intercompany invoicing, credit card expenses, and collections. Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits. Use AI/automation tools to improve efficiency. Requires 1-3 years accounting experience, familiarity with SOX, proficiency in Dynamics 365 or similar ERP, Excel, BI tools, and AI tools like Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Query, and Power Automate. Strong communication and adaptability needed. Salary range $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Remote role.
What you'll do
- Prepare accruals, update/reconcile key balance sheet accounts, and maintain SOX-compliant documentation
- Maintain lease schedule, record right-of-use asset and liability amortization, reconcile lease balances, and support disclosure preparation at quarter-end
