Full job description

Amazon is investing in its Worldwide Online Display Advertising business, focusing on the Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP). The DSP Engineering team builds large-scale systems for programmatic ad campaigns and order management. The senior full stack software engineer will design and deliver solutions for Amazon's advertising business, implement customer-facing features, enable other teams, drive organizational alignment, and improve operational efficiency using AI tools. Requirements include 5+ years professional software development, programming, system design, leadership experience, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. What you'll do

  • Build large-scale systems integrating multiple sources to provide unique advertising products
  • Influence design and deliver solutions for significant portions of Amazon's advertising business
  • Provide controls and data to prove efficacy of Amazon advertising and retail promotion programs
  • Implement customer-facing features to simplify and minimize steps to create and optimize campaigns
  • Enable other development teams to build functionality
  • Drive alignment across the organization
  • Increase operational efficiency using the latest AI tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
