Viant is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the financial close process, internal and external audit requests, process improvements, and internal reporting. Responsibilities include managing monthly financial close deadlines, preparing financial statement flux analysis, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and collaborating with accounting, finance, and IT teams on ERP integrations and data integrity initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, 3+ years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, strong knowledge of GAAP, advanced Excel skills including XLOOKUP and Power Query, and prior ERP experience (NetSuite preferred). The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, discretion, and excellent communication. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range is $95,000 - $105,000. Location: Irvine, California.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years relevant Accounting experience
CPA preferred (In process or Active)
Solid knowledge of accounting and GAAP
Big 4/regional firm audit/assurance experience preferred or a mix of public and private experience
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, Power Query or PowerPivots)
Prior involvement in ERP implementation (NetSuite preferred), optimization, or system conversion projects preferred
Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
Strong attention to detail and high-level of accuracy
Able to handle extremely sensitive information requiring the utmost discretion and confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills
Excellent IT skills
