Vibe.co is hiring a mid-level Strategic Initiatives team member reporting to the VP of Strategic Initiatives. The role involves owning market entry assessments, new business model explorations, M&A workstreams, and cross-functional initiative monitoring. Responsibilities include building analytical frameworks, using AI to accelerate research and automate governance workflows, and co-designing the Strategic Initiatives function. Candidates must have 4-6 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, cross-functional understanding, and demonstrated AI fluency. Benefits include variable pay, hybrid work in NYC, full health coverage, 401(k) matching, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and annual offsite. Salary range for NYC candidates is $160,000 to $210,000.

What you'll do

  • Own market entry assessments, new business model explorations, and M&A workstreams end-to-end
  • Build analytical frameworks from first principles and deliver sharp recommendations quickly
  • Use AI to compress research cycles and surface insights faster
  • Translate ambiguous mandates into decision-ready materials for VP of Strategic Initiatives, CEO, and leadership
  • Own tracking system for critical cross-functional initiatives including milestones, KPIs, owners, and blockers
  • Synthesize initiative health into clear briefs with risks, options, and recommendations
  • Own analytical backbone of Business Reviews and ExCo meetings in collaboration with Finance
  • Design and deploy AI agents to automate governance workflows such as pre-read generation, initiative tracking, and action item follow-up
  • Identify AI opportunities to eliminate manual overhead in governance system and own build end-to-end
  • Co-design how the Strategic Initiatives team operates, prioritizes, and scales
  • Bring structure to the function and push toward a world-class strategic initiatives operation

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience running something -- a market, a launch, a function -- with the track record to show for it
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking: ability to build a framework from scratch and turn it into a decision quickly
  • Exceptional written communication -- distill complexity into one-pagers that drive real decisions at the executive level
  • Cross-functional range: understand how Sales, Product, Finance, and Engineering think, and operate credibly across all
  • Demonstrated AI fluency -- built or shipped AI-powered workflows, agents, or automations, and default to automating repetitive work
  • Nice to have: experience at a high-growth startup or in strategy consulting or investing
  • Nice to have: prior exposure to governance design, operating model work, or company-level OKR processes
  • Nice to have: familiarity with streaming TV advertising, connected TV (CTV), or performance marketing
