StackAdapt is hiring a Senior/Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join their engineering team in the UK. The role involves leading the development and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to improve advertising effectiveness and ROI. Responsibilities include end-to-end development of production-grade ML models, collaboration with Data Engineers for deployment, prototyping and testing algorithms and data pipelines, and leading iterative improvements based on data insights. Candidates should have 3+ years of industry experience, a Masters or PhD in a relevant field, strong coding skills, and a solid understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning. The position is full-time and remote within the UK. What you'll do

  • Lead creation and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance advertising effectiveness and ROI
  • Own end-to-end development of production-grade ML models including writing efficient, scalable code

  • Drive prototyping and rigorous testing of innovative algorithms and data pipelines using historical data

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field
  • Ability to break down ambiguously defined tasks into actionable steps

  • Proficient in coding, data structures, and algorithms
