Full job description
Freestar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Prebid.js, Prebid Server, and the header bidding ecosystem. The role requires 4+ years of JavaScript and TypeScript experience, deep knowledge of auction lifecycle, Google Ad Manager, and programmatic advertising technologies. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining client-side monetization scripts, owning the header bidding wrapper architecture, integrating new features, and ensuring high performance and reliability of deployed solutions. The position is remote (US only) and reports to the Engineering Manager.
What you'll do
Write and ship production code daily, review peers' pull requests, and partner with other engineers to ensure quality across the codebase
Serve as subject matter expert for Prebid.js and Prebid Server, advising on wrapper architecture, bid adapters, modules (identity, consent, floors, analytics)
