Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Senior Account Manager to support the Client Services team in managing and growing key agency accounts. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, providing strategic recommendations, offering training on The Trade Desk platform, collaborating with Sales & Trading teams, and contributing to platform improvements. Candidates should have 5-7+ years of client-facing online advertising experience, 1-2+ years working with a DSP (preferably The Trade Desk platform), strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines. Willingness to travel 1-2 times per quarter is required. The role offers a competitive salary range of $67,775–$124,255 CAD, stock-based compensation eligibility, and other incentives. Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What you'll do

  • Manage and grow a roster of key Agency Accounts by building strong client relationships
  • Provide strategic recommendations and exceptional client service
  • Become an expert on The Trade Desk platform and offer insights on creative marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales & Trading teams to develop accounts and achieve client goals
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with brand and agency clients as a consultant
  • Own training plans for onboarding new clients and continuing programmatic education
  • Lead account management with forward-thinking strategies
  • Provide client feedback to Product Management and Partnerships for platform improvements
  • Develop standard methodologies within Client Services
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop training collateral and customer guides
  • Train and onboard new teammates

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of consultative, client-facing work within online advertising experience preferred
  • 1-2+ years of experience working within a DSP (TTD platform experience strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • Mentorship and/or leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
  • Consistent track record of growing accounts by developing strong client relationships
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize, work with a high volume of clients, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Confidence speaking to large groups
  • Solid experience in Excel and MS Office
  • Ability to use large data sets to build insights and strategy recommendations
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 times a quarter
