Full job description

Senior IT Administrator role based in New York office supporting Executive Leadership and global staff. Responsibilities include providing in-person and remote IT support, managing IT infrastructure, end-user devices, applications, firewalls, VPN, WiFi, and MDM systems (JAMF, Intune). Collaborate with internal and external IT teams and other departments. Manage help desk requests, develop technical documentation, and support onboarding/offboarding. Requires bachelor's degree, 5+ years experience supporting Windows, Mac, Linux, Okta, Google Workspace, Crowdstrike, and strong communication skills. SOX experience and IT certifications are a plus. Hybrid work environment; local candidates only.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with a worldwide team of IT professionals, both internal and external
  • Provide in-person and remote support to all employees, including Executive and Senior Leadership
  • Respond to and manage incoming technical support requests via the IT help desk ticketing system and other support avenues
  • Oversee and maintain the office's IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications (e.g., Network infrastructure, Zoom Room, A/V, and desk equipment)
  • Ensure availability and proper working condition of computer equipment and peripherals by managing and assisting with setup, maintenance, repair, and disposal
  • Develop and distribute technical instructional documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in IT offices, server rooms, and storage areas
  • Collaborate with other departments (Engineering, DevOps, Security, Facilities, Finance, Corporate Systems)
  • Participate in projects on installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of technology infrastructure and associated hardware and software
  • Manage, enroll, and improve MDM infrastructure - JAMF and Intune
  • Responsible for office firewalls (UniFi, Fortinet), VPN gateways, WiFi infrastructure
  • Support communication and productivity stack (Google Apps, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for onboarding and offboarding employees (new hire orientations, asset management, access control)
  • Support IT requirements for local events (executive leadership and board meetings) and global events (all-hands meetings)
  • Occasional travel to other offices to assist with IT support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Support experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
  • Experience with Identity Provider platforms like Okta
  • Experience with SaaS applications like Google Workspace
  • Experience with centrally managed client security technologies such as Crowdstrike
  • Experience with MDM such as JAMF and Intune
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and guide users through basic computer tasks
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Experience supporting executive staff members in person and remotely
  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) experience is a plus
  • Certificates or educational degrees in IT are a plus
