Full job description

Senior Delivery Consultant role to lead implementation and delivery of ActiveControl SAP change management software. Responsibilities include assessing SAP change landscapes, translating business requirements into technical solutions, configuring and deploying ActiveControl across complex SAP estates including containerised environments, managing projects independently, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, supporting deployment cutovers and post-go-live stabilization, producing technical documentation, and supporting change adoption. Requires experience in SAP consulting, SAP Basis, SAP transports, change and release management tools, SAP security, containerised environments, project management, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and compliance awareness. Occasional travel to office and client sites required. Desirable skills include ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps integration, Fiori/OData gateway, Agile Scrum, DevOps, ActiveControl experience, and German language. What you'll do

  • Lead the implementation and delivery of ActiveControl SAP change management software
  • Assess clients' SAP change landscape and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Own configuration and deployment of ActiveControl across complex, multi-layered SAP estates including containerised environments
  • Manage projects independently, owning timelines, scope, and client outcomes
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (technical, functional, business) locally and remotely
  • Support deployment cutovers and post-go-live (hypercare) stabilisation
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for delivery, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer
  • Support change adoption and communicate change impact to stakeholders during delivery
  • Travel occasionally to office and client sites as required

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in SAP consulting or a similarly SAP-focused technical role
  • Experience in SAP Basis working with SAP transports and change and release management tools (e.g. SAP Solution Manager ChaRM, SAP Cloud ALM)
  • Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration, SAP technical architecture, SAP client management, and repository vs customizing object concepts and handling
  • Strong understanding of SAP role-based security
  • Knowledge of containerised deployment environments and multi-layered application architectures
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently, owning timelines, scope, and client outcomes with minimal oversight
  • Excellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills, translating business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills, with a structured approach to diagnosing root cause and preventing recurrence
  • Experience supporting deployment cutovers and post-go-live (hypercare) stabilisation
  • Experience producing and maintaining clear technical documentation for delivery, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer
  • Awareness of security and compliance requirements relevant to SAP change and data handling, including SOX compliance and segregation of duties
  • Experience supporting change adoption and communicating change impact to stakeholders during delivery
  • Willingness to travel to the office and to client sites on an infrequent, project-dependent basis (occasional international travel may be required)
  • Desirable: Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps integration with SAP
  • Desirable: Experience with Fiori/SAP OData gateway
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Agile Scrum, DevOps, or similar delivery methodologies
  • Desirable: Knowledge of or experience working with ActiveControl
  • Desirable: German language speaker
