Kargo is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale data infrastructure for targeting, identity, and measurement. This remote role based in London involves hands-on implementation of pipelines, systems, and tooling to process raw data efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities include building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating new data sources, maintaining ArgoCD CI/CD pipelines, implementing GDPR/CCPA-compliant identity and targeting methods, managing infrastructure deployment and scaling on AWS, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes, writing technical documentation, and participating in design sessions. Required skills include proficiency in Python, Spark, Airflow, Apache Iceberg, AWS services, CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and Prometheus, analytical warehousing with Snowflake or ClickHouse, SQL optimization, and knowledge of ad tech privacy and targeting methodologies. Preferred experience includes real-time streaming technologies Kafka and Flink, and Aerospike or similar key-value stores.
